This Sunday at FaithPoint Church CPT, Pastor Tendani shared that souls are precious to God and soul-winning is a matter of life and death: because we are made in His image (Gen 1:26-27), we must love what He loves, and His love was sacrificial as He took our pain on the cross (John 3:16), teaching us to hate sin but love the sinner; God doesn't need numbers — even if you're the only Christian in your family, He can use you, and salvation is not to be gatekept but shared because the harvest is plenty but labourers are few (Luke 10:2, Matt 28:19), requiring our total surrender of career, family and all; if we don't compel people to God (Luke 14:23), sin will compel them, so we must bring them with the right motive — beyond personal blessings — knowing salvation was made free (2 Cor 5:18-19) so no one can boast, and we are already equipped to go and do as Jesus modelled.
