At FaithPoint Church Johannesburg, Pastor Jay Makopo shared a sobering message from Matthew 22:1–14, asking a piercing question: Does Jesus know you? Even those who were chosen rejected Him — distracted by possessions, ambitions, and progress.
Through the parable of the wedding banquet, we are reminded that God’s grace allows us into the room, though none of us truly deserve to be there. Yet it is not enough to simply show up; we must be clothed in Christ, grateful, humble, and fully present.
This message challenges us to shift our posture — to stop doing religion, and instead truly know Jesus for ourselves before we call others to Him.
